Since September 11th 2001, the world faces new horrible acts of terror, such as blowing up public and government buildings and installations, hijacking planes, attacking and blowing up undergrounds, trains, buses etc, in Moscow, Tokyo, Madrid, Bally, London and other major cities. These acts lead to the death of innocent men, women and children. They also result in a general feeling of insecurity among the population, all over the world. It is our duty to defend them and to fight terrorism and terrorists, always and everywhere, in order to ensure a better future and safer world, for the sake of our children.

The "International Security & Anti Terror Institute" organizes various professional security-training courses for official governmental as well as for organizations from the private sector. Some of the courses we are organizing in collaboration with the Tel Aviv University's Sports and recreation Center's Education Department. This combination and cooperation between the professionalism in the security field and the highest level of training systems and methods, provides the best results, just as it happened to our security guard Michael Sarakisov who identified, overcame and captured alive a "Suicide Bomber" (see true event).

We are training and preparing diverse staff from the private sector such as aircraft cabin crew, security guards, as well as various official and governmental security personnel.

We are the sole external security training and consultant services institute, which trains and prepares the Israeli Police special "swat" units "Yassam". These units are dealing with the "Homeland Security" problems, and they are mainly concentrated to avoid any kind of "Suicide Bombers" or "Terror" attack attempts. Among them there is the special Police "Yassam" unit that secures the public transportation in Israel. In addition, we are training and preparing the special Border Guard units in Hungary, as well as, other police and governmental security units in several European countries.

The management and the personnel of the "International Security & Anti Terror Institute" are well known professionals who served in unique military combat forces and other special security "elite" units. Among them are: engineers, pilots, commanders, analyzers and security specialists. They are highly qualified experienced instructors, and well known experts in various security topics such as:

Mr. Avi Bleier, who has a wide security service background and is the Director of the Security training department in the Tel-Aviv University, founded the "International Security & Anti Terror Institute" in colabration with Tel-Aviv University's Sport club's Instructors School.

Mr. Bleier was elected as the Chairman and as the President of the Israel Karate Federation in 1984, and holds the rank of 6th black belt Dan in Karate. Since June 2004, he has been nominated as the first "Honorary President" of the Federation. Mr. Bleier is an expert in other martial arts as well, and has a huge security background.

Unfortunately, in the recent years, the "Suicide Bombers" attack attempts became popular among the terror movements, and there was a need to find some ways to try to avoid or at least to decrease the number of "Suicide Bombers" attack attempts, and try to minimize the loss of human lives in case of success.

One of the actions (among many others) taken by the security authorities is to secure most of the places that might be a target to terror attack attempts. In most of the cases, the "Suicide Bomber" while trying to enter to a crowded place, should pass nearby the security guard.

As a consequence of this surprising "close distance" unexpected meeting, arose the need to update the security guards preparation concept. From one hand it means that it needed to prepare the security guards to be able to recognize, identify and overcome the terrorist in the situations described above. On the other hand there are legal and other limitations of using hand gun in public places.

Therefore, the leadership of the "International Security & Anti Terror Institute" developed the most advanced and updated close combat fighting and self defense training system "Intensive Krav-Maga", which is based upon our extensive real life-threatening experience in the security field.

We believe that awareness and proper preparation, such as participation in our international security-training courses, significantly increases the chances of the security guard to overcome terror activity and will probably save human lives, exactly as it happened in the case of Mr. Sarkisow on the 12th October 2002 (true event).
